Latvia Property Restitution: A Legacy Reclaimed After the Holocaust
Our journey began in 1991, when Latvia passed legislation allowing the restitution of private property that had been confiscated during World War II. One of our early clients—a Holocaust survivor who escaped to the United States—reached out to MyWebridge to help reclaim his family’s lost heritage.
His father and grandfather had belonged to a prominent Jewish family known for owning factories, commercial buildings, and agricultural lands across multiple Latvian cities. Through detailed historical research and property tracing, MyWebridge specialists identified and documented all the properties once held by the family.
✅ The result: We successfully restituted the family’s real estate holdings in Riga, Liepāja, and Grobina, returning their rightful legacy after decades of loss.
